An excursion by RiverCat ferry via the Parramatta River through Wangal and Wallumedegal territory and history, to the site of James Squire’s orchard at Kissing Point Putney, where Woollarawarre Bennelong spent his last years and was buried in 1813. Conducted by Keith Vincent Smith, cultural historian and emeritus curator, Library Council of New South Wales. Meet at Circular Quay 10am. Bookings essential.
