Lane Cove’s Children’s Voices for Reconciliation

Celebrating its 25 year, this combined schools performance brings young people together to celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and Reconciliation. Join us for an exciting morning of entertainment where young people of all ages share their voice on Reconciliation through music, dance and stories.

This year’s performances are inspired by the Reconciliation Week theme ‘Be Brave. Make Change’

Event Day Report:

Celebrating its 25th year, an exciting morning was had in Lane Cove Plaza as young people from local schools and groups came together to celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island culture in recognition of National Reconciliation Week. This year’s performances were inspired by the Reconciliation Week theme ‘Be Brave. Make Change.’. Participants were treated to an extra special celebration in acknowledgement of the 25th anniversary, including dance, songman and didgeridoo performances and a small anniversary ribbon pin. 320 people were in attendance.
