Lana is grounded in her Aboriginal culture from her teachings from Elders of the Gumbaynggirr Nation. Lana came to the area when attending Biala Girls Hostel at Allambie Heights and went on to complete her HSC at Mackellar Girls High School. Within Lana’s professional life her career expands across 25 years working for the NSW state government within an Aboriginal programs area and is an advocate for change, working towards Closing the Gap in employment outcomes.
