Healing Country Art Workshop ABOUT THE EVENT Join a Healing Country Art Workshop for Children hosted by Andrea Bennett a Kamilaroi and Dunghetti women. Children aged 9-12 will shown how to paint gum leaves and meaningful symbols onto clay pots and learn from stories. NAIDOC 2021 THEME IS HEAL COUNTRY We are sharing knowledge through creativity – painting this pot. The pot focuses on reminding us to take care of land, air and water. ABOUT KU-RING-GAI WILDFLOWER GARDEN Set on 154 hectares of urban Sydney Sandstone bushland at St Ives and adjacent to Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park, Ku-ring-gai Wildflower Garden boasts some of Sydney’s best Wildflower trails, Duffys Forrest and Coastal Upland Swamp as well as 18 threatened species of Australian Flora and Fauna and 2 endangered ecological communities providing learning experiences in the natural environment
