An exhibition of artworks from across Central Australia’s Pitjantjatjara, Yankunytjatjara and Nyangatjatjara communities. Represented by Maruku Arts which is Anangu owned and proud, artists
and knowledge keepers have created artworks and wood objects that tell stories of place, language and ceremony. Starting on the lands and rippling out to the nation, these works will share their stories with the North Sydney community whilst on display in the InTransit Art Space.
This project was made possible through a partnership between Maruku Arts, Monte Sant’ Angelo Mercy College, the 2019 Gai-mariagal Festival and North Sydney Council.
Exhibition open from 4 July – 1 August.
