My cultural journey through art and language with Peta-Joy Williams.

Wiradjuri woman, artist and educator Peta-Joy Williams will explain how she had to search out her culture and learn a language that was almost dead. It involved stretching her understanding by connecting to country through art and language, with family and the wider community. It also prepared her to bring that knowledge as a professional artist and provider of cultural awareness. Peta-Joy intends to continue the journey for her entire life and entrust it to the generations coming after her, ensuring this rich history is not lost as so many have been.
