Singing Up Country 2024

Singing Up Country 2024 is our 10th Birthday Year.
A festival showcasing Aboriginal musicians, their culture, music and community spirit, it is led by Yaegl man Michal Birk.
Musicians are: The Stiff Gins, The Recognisers, Green Hand Band, Gii Music, Magpie and Spilt Coffee.
It is a beginning to NAIDOC WEEK.
Enjoy a warming soup supper.
Before the music, join in a free story-telling and walk in the regenerating bush.
This event brings together many communities. It is run in collaboration with the Frenchs Forest Catholic Parish Social Justice Group and the Kierans Creek Landcare Group, supported by Mona Vale Music.
Bush To Bowl will offer indigenous foods and plants.

Session One: Talking, Walking Country Free Event: 2:30 pm for a 2.45pm start, finishing at 3.45pm.


Session Two: Singing Up Country: 3.45pm Smoking Ceremony, 4pm start, finishing at about 8.30pm.
