Weaving Stories Workshops - Mona Vale

The 2024 Weaving Stories workshops offer a unique opportunity to engage with local Aboriginal knowledge holders and a traditional master weaver and explore your own creativity. During the workshops you will hear captivating stories shared by Aboriginal knowledge holders while learning traditional weaving techniques. Whether you are a seasoned artist or novice, these workshops provide a welcoming space to learn, create, and celebrate First Nations culture and heritage.

Please make your way to Mona Vale Library building and take lift or stairs to Level 1, walk through Customer Service to the Gallery. Caroline, Karleen and the Northern Beaches Council team will be waiting to welcome you. Below are the dates for the upcoming workshops. Though the workshops are free to attend, bookings are essential.

Please allow time for your parking. Mona Vale Village can be busy in the mornings.
